Felt like pushing my journal off the front of my page.

Hope everyone had a great July 4th, whether you were celebrating your country's independance or whether it was just Saturday. I know I didn't have a great on. I had to get sick and go home early and miss the drunken fireworks antics! :>_<:

I'm being lazy again. :sigh: Keep putting off replies, then thinking I did reply because I replied in my head, then discovering I didn't and then putting it off.... Yeah. Also, being lazy as hell when it comes to these unposted LOST things or the sketchdump I was going to do last month, or finding the started requests/trades and finishing them... I'm just sort of drained right now. Heck, I've reuploaded my own ballpoint sketch into the submit deviation section 3 times already, but I want to write a good artist's comments on the character it's of... but I'm too freaking lazy.

Meanwhile, I'm still playing the Sims 3 for several hours every day. I should start posting the tales of what they're all up to somewhere, because I'm a dork and I love them. The traits system is the best thing ever. "Loser" sims are adorable in a whiny, bitchy way. Basically Losers are Jackface. Sometimes they're at work/school and you just get a pop-up that has a big long story of the humiliating bullying your sim has suffered through the day. When they get promotions or things like that, they get a positive moodlet that says "WINNER!" and makes that makes them happier for several hours. When they win a game or something, they get an interaction called "Boast about being a winner for once!" If they lose, they start rolling wishes to be very mean to whoever beat them and get an interaction called "Whine about being a Loser". They'll randomly start sniffling and crying even when they are happy. This can be both adorable and make them seem like whiny little bitches. The description for Losers is "Your sim is not on the winning side of life. Expect failure to come often. They won't even get mad as everything falls apart... they'll. just cry."

...One more random note, I'm sick of my dad not knowing what the word "glitch" means. He knows darn well what "glitch" means but he's trying to call poor, deliberate human programmer choices "glitches" when they are not, to be clever and prove some kind of ridiculous point.

I think I'm just in a bad mood this week...
